Second Elope West Coast beach elopement!

Well, Elope West Coast, (the new elopement service I've started with Gen, a celebrant friend,) started with a bang, with our first two elopements back to back last week. Our second couple were Donna and Jason, locals with a gorgeous love story - for each other and the beach. They chose the Taharangi package.

One special thing about elopements is that we can cater them to suit couples' needs exactly. In this case, we could be flexible with time to avoid some of the rain showers that day. Donna and Jason also chose to have no decorative panels or table and chairs for the registry signing, choosing instead to let nature speak for itself and use their vintage car to hold their documents.

They also chose not to spend too much time on photos, but are coming back with family later in the month to get some all together.

We love how each couple is so different, and it's a joy to meet their needs.

Things got off to a tricky start as our celebrant, Gen, nearly took a tumble going down to the beach!

As well as being photographer, I served as one of the two witnesses. Our other job was to ensure we gave plenty of warning in case any bigger waves came - as the tide was coming in!
