First Elope West Coast beach elopement!

I teamed up with friend and celebrant, Gen Chan, to create Elope West Coast, where we offer bespoke beach elopements where everything is provided for couples. Because I run a bed and breakfast overlooking a gorgeous beach, (View With A Room NZ,) this made sense! So couples can choose to stay or not, and have a gorgeous beach elopement, complete with all the trimmings.

Violet and Vassily were the first to take advantage of our Taharangi package a few days ago, which includes two nights of accommodation, along with the ceremony, photos, champagne, platter, flowers and even witnesses if needed.

They were so keen to get good photos that they even brought along extra outfits, and we agreed to a separate photoshoot in the morning, while their ceremony was in the evening.

For any couples keen on having an intimate wedding without the fuss of organisation, consider an elopement with us! And if you are keen on photos, we have one of the most beautiful locations on our doorstep, and I am keen to help!

They asked for photos with pōhutukawa trees to show overseas family something unique to NZ.

It's such a joy working with couples who respond to direction. 'Want to get some reflection photos on those rocks there?' 'Sure!'

Gen Chan is the celebrant, and she works closely with couples to make sure the ceremony is just right for them. This was an intimate ceremony, just how they wanted it.

Thank you Shirley and Gen for helping us creating this most magical experience of our lifetime. We are so grateful for the opportunity to take so many wonderful photos at beautiful Motukiekie beach. Shirley made us feel so comfortable the whole time and we just played around during the photoshoot. Gen articulated the most beautiful and heartfelt speech for our wedding. We were really touched by the incredible support from Gen and Shirley to make our elopement wedding happen. They are so accomodating to all the questions and preferences. The accommodation View With A Room has the most stunning view of all the hotels and BnB we’ve ever been. The platter and champagne after the ceremony were super delicious too.…
